I need some help, I tried to find some information using the search feature but not much luck.
I installed a 84 XJS Jag IFS in my 50 Chevy truck and now I need to connect the brake lines to the calipers. I plan to use an upgrade under the floor master cylinder kit with booster(not sure which One) as I plan to use my clutch.
My question is what do I need to adapt my brake lines? Is there a flex hose I should be using instead of the stock jag hose. I could also use some help on which company makes a nice bolt in master cylinder kit that I can use with my clutch?

the fittings are fairly standard non metric, why not use jag flexy hoses? the standard jag cylinder is 15/16 bore, you will need the double servo the single wont work very well because i tried it, i have 2 chevys, a 58 burb and a 56 truck, they both run xj6 front clips and they work well, if you use the standard cross member check the spring cups they have a habit of rotting out over, if you have to rebuild it i can give you place to look they do every thing you will need, there not cheap to rebuild so you may want to look at mustang 2 or similar

Thanks for the reply. I have already installed the jag IFS in the truck. It was pretty easy. I did take my hubs to a buddy and have them turned down so I could run a stock chevy wheel. I just need to hook up the brake lines. When I got the truck the brakes didn't work so I was going to replace everything with one of those aftremarket kits that use the 7 inch dual booster and the vette master cylinder. I want to retain my clutch as I plan on leaving the 6 cylinder and three speed in the truck. I am not sure who sales these kits. I thought the flex line on the jag front end might be metrics as it is a male end that had a b-nut attached when I removed it from the car. I still have the jag flex lines. I was just hoping to get a starting point before I go down to our local Advance Auto store. When I tell them it's a Jag IFS in a 50 chevy truck I am sure I am going to get that deer in the headlight look.
