I'm a newbie, a noob, the FNG. Fresh meat, new guy, and anything else you want to call me. I don't know your lingo, your terminology, or what you consider acceptable in your dialogue of traditional customization. Please foirgive me if I say something that offends you, since you do not refer to your car as a rat rod, or a hot rod, or a g***er, or etc etc etc... I live solitary out of a disdain for what this world has become, the loss of traditional family values, the breakdown of the moral fibre that once made this country great. I have contempt for greedy and corrupt Government and big business, and get physically ill at the mere thought that there are Tupperware cars run by computers that bear the name Charger... Challenger... Camaro... Mustang... and so on. Namesakes carried over for the purpose of selling their m***-produced JUNK. Yeah yeah, sure, I'm the new guy. HERE. But consider for a moment that in the real world, away from this keyboard, I quite possibly may have turned more wrenches, burned more steel, split more knuckles, and learned more little tricks and tips than you. I started my first frame-off before I was 15. Two years later I was driving a show car to school. So call me what you want. It really doesn't bother me. But you better ****in' smile while you do it, because the day may come that I'm your only friend, and suddenly you need me. I'm one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and I'll give anyone the shirt off my back. The only thing I ask for is respect. Give it, and you'll get it back ten-fold. Now that we're all straight here, together we can build some **** that makes people notice what's been missing for too long. You with me? ~NDG

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'll try to keep my emotions in check just enough to minimize the f-bombs as much as possible. That being said, I grew up in north Jersey, and spent six years in the Navy, so when I get pissed about something, or even just feel very strongly about something, it just sorta flows naturally. If it becomes offensive, lemme know and I'll use an interchange word... maybe 'sasquatch' or something. Which could make for a rather funny post anyway. (Remember "Mad-libs" when you were a kid... lol) Good, bad, and the ugly... I got a chuckle out of that comment. Seriously though, it's nice to sorta meet you all, and I hope we can all become good friends over time. I look forward to learning some new things, as well as sharing my knowledge. If anyone ever needs anything, give a holler. I hunt those hard-to-find parts for a living, and am pretty damn good at it. And if anyone plans to attend the Charlotte Auto Fair at the end of April, might I suggest we all meet up for a nice cold one, perhaps at Razoos or Quaker Steak? Thanks again for the welcome. ~Neil

Thanks everyone. If anyone is ever p***ing through Charlotte, shoot me a PM. Always up for meeting up with new friends. Maybe we'll burn some **** on the grill and laugh about it over a cold one.

A reminder to members not to let their daughters, wives or maybe even their grandmas go near Charlotte N.C.
