At long last, my 1964 Corvair Monza has sold. A really nice couple from Hummelstown, PA spotted it here on the HAMB Cl***ifieds. We did the deal, went to the ***le company and placed it in her name. They came with trailer and an air tank to fill up the tires. One tire was shot (it was only 35+ years old). I had a spare wheel and made a call to my local tire service. 'Vairs have a 13" wheel, and 6.50x13 bias-ply or even 185-80R13 radials are becoming non-existant. But the stars aligned for us, as someone had special-ordered a 185-60R13 and never picked it up! So new tire mounted, we rolled the little sedan up the ramps easily and away they went. I wish them the best with their new purchase. I had my fun with it. So I am without an old car now. You know what that means -- THE HUNT IS ON! <label for="rb_iconid_10"></label>
she looks like she was a solid old girl. hopefully theyll restore her like she deserves. corvairs are so unapreciated.
Sometimes it's hard to see them go on the trailer and head on down the road. I just sold a 64 Dodge Model 440 2-door hardtop last weekend, it was one of too many projects.......
