I forgot about this one I just found. It just arrived from California 5 days ago. Everything is original but the paint.

  10. I've always dug the late 50's all the way through the mid 60s Mercs. I think it may be because when I was little my Dad had a mild kustom '58 in about 1971. I was crazy about that car--especially the push button automatic. A car like that was totally out of style by the early 70's, but my Dad was always "lost in the 50's" and could care less about what was in style during the current time frame. It had cruiser skirts, a Continental kit, shaved side trim, etc. I do have one picture that my brother took of our old German Shepherd and part of the Merc happens to be in the background in our driveway. I'll try to dig up that picture later and scan it. I don't really know whatever happened to that car. I'll have to ask my Mom to see if she remembers what happened to it.

I've managed to collect a few pictures around the web of some that I liked..............E

I caught this excellent '62 making a few passes at the Hundert Car Heads Up this year.

Niiiiiiiice!!! I have a 52 sedan also. Nothing at all as nice as this one though. Where are all the 52-54 Mercs. Don't see them often enough. Everybody seems to be into the Fords of the same years but not so much the Mercs. I don't understand that. Mercs are smoother and look more custom right from the factory.
