In a strange effort to thin the herd and actually finish a few projects, a mutually beneficial trade with my uncle landed me this super solid '47 coupe on Saturday.

Plans call for a hot SBC, bags, and big wheels. I can't wait to get started.

Just to update (& to piss off the m***es ;))....

The Street Rod Nationals resulted in a complete Ride Tech suspension kit with 4 link for the rear, Haywire wiring kit, and 17" & 20" Coys wheels.

    Awesome!!!!

You driving to Shades Harrison? Just kidding, looks like a great project. I too like the look of those wheels on it. Hope to see you at the Forge.

Ha! Kennedy & I will both be at Shades - neither in our own car!

    We'll see you there!

It may not be traditionally hamb friendly, but it is gonna look good.

What happened to the old wheels and tires? I bet some HAMBers would be interested in those bad boys!

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, it doesn't really fit here on the HAMB but I'm proud of it, I've been here for a long time, and I have a few friends here who ask about it occasionally.

I try to be respectful and not too obtrusive with updates.

I've done a couple in the last few years that would be considered "traditional" and fit here on the HAMB well. I love that style but I love a lot of other styles as well.

This one is being to be built to be driven long, hard, and often without much worry. That's "traditional" enough for me. ;)

You talking about Paul's car? Hadn't really thought about it but he did/does run similar wheels.
