I have a Ford 38 truck grill..and I want to know about the outer shroud lights...were these lights (blinkers) on the shroud section a add on..???..seems like I've never seen one with the front blinker lights..???..Thinking about selling it and would like to make sure what I have...
I'm talking about the blinker lights not the headlights.....the I'm talking about are the lights are in the front shroud area...you can see them in the photos...I'm wondering if these are common on a 38 grill..??....also if I sell this I need to know if it's a half ton grill....
they are add ons for the turn signals wich they did not come with. i believe all the grills are the same.
That is what I thought..I looked at many photos and none of them had the blinker lights on them..I'm going to take this apart and sell it off..I was going to keep it but I need some extra cash for my other build..
Think I will sell this...any idea what this is worth...it is the complete grill front section....including the fan shroud...the front sheetmetal with the inner louvered grill piece...all of the stainless outer trim with the center section..the trim has some dents....it also has the v-8 center emblem...it is a nice one..but has some very small pitting..I need to renew my membership and need some extra cash for my current project...I will regret this later on...lol...
The lights on the filler panels are an add-on, not original. All '38 pickups, panels, and big trucks (except cabover) use the same grille. The filler panels for pickups are different from big truck, but there is no difference in the grille. I've owned a '38 pickup for 46 years, so PM me if I can be of further help.
