info on chopping a 54 chevy hardtop??

Does anyone have any info on chopping a 54 chevy hardtop and using a rear gl*** window?

 

I chopped one at the age of 16. The chop is straight forward. The vent windows and rear window are the problem areas. I worked out the issues with the vents but I was going to use lean for the rear..(have yet to finish it)

badlucks is not a 54 tho different roof lines

 

it looks like alot of people are useing lexan

 

had a '54 Coupe with front and rear gl*** lowered into body. rear gl*** leaned forward too. no pics to share.

 

anybooks out there on chopping this type of roof???

check Gambino Kustoms out... and BadLuck52 will get you to the same point. Same concept. Every 54 HT I know sunk the gl*** into the package tray, so that must tell you something...

 

I chopped a 54 hardtop, and used the factory rear gl***. It turned out nice,I have pics if you want to see where I made my cuts. Don't use lexan. I do have a book that shows a 54 being chopped, when I find it I'll get you the ***tle.
