I purchased a 1960 Chevy truck frame with plans for an easy upgrade to later model frame. i have looked at mounts and and this type frame is closer to 55-59 frame rather than 63-66. This frame has the lowering bar type front with the addition of disc brakes. What are your thoughts and suggestions

It sounds to me like a strange thing to do...the 57 frame fits the 57 cab pretty well.

Well I know there is not much difference, but rather than leaving straight axle or making at front frame clip change (Nova/MII) I was hoping the torsion bar front axle set up on factory 1960 truck would be easy fix.

The guys who have 60-62 trucks are always on the lookout for a cheap easy fix for their trucks. You'd just be buying a different set of problems. Price ball joints...
