Hello all, Im not new here but i have a new Build! traded for my 29 Model a ratrod.. Very stoked on this.

56 lincoln capri, shaved handles, mouldings, antenna trunk ect... Interior is done but the door panels are not in right now. It has a angel hair headliner and rear deck. the car is very straight, the owner before me had a PETINA look with striping but then decided to krylon the whole. 368 y block runs AWESOME.

Plans- finish off the interior, im missing some trim pieces that i have actually located in Florida, i already prepped the roof and primed it. Going to do with a Synergy Green/silver flake top. the rest of the car i have started to hit it with 800 then 1000 and buff it, actually looks good. i will probably completely paint it in the summer. While sanding i found some old striping, pretty rad.

    enjoy the pics.

Thanks!. interior was just redone, it does need a carpet kit, and missing some of the chrome trim but i have located 99% of it. I have to have the window motors gone through, once i do that ill put the door panels in and snap some pics.

its missing some dash knobs and stuff but other than that its all there.

and a trunk large enough to fit another car in haha.

I love the '56s, but I'm kinda partial to them fairly stock.

    Update:

Body worked the roof and painted it new camaro synergy green but we added some flake! Looks rad in the sun, I was going to sand down the body with 800/1000 and then buff it. Decided to take it a step further and blow the whole car out. We hit it with some 320, bondo'd a few of the bad spots and layed a few coats of white primer for now. 1 can of laquer and 20 shop towels to remove TONS of black overspray from the previous owner, I think it cleaned up pretty damn good! We added a 1/4 chrome strip down the entire body line which actually breaks it up pretty nice. Wet sanded the red krylon off the taillights and hit them with some red candy. Also added a few of those 1/4" chrome strips in the taillight ribs.

Nice work, the white and green top looks great. Cannot beat stock Lincoln caps IMO but go with something rare and unique if you want different instead of aftermarket and just like all the others.
Be sure to post pics with the caps on.
