    G'day,

I've been lurking here for a fair while but only just started posting. Currently restoring a 49 Ford F3 but also have a 28 Pontiac, 29 Pontiac, 48 Pontiac, 47 Ford truck and a 67 Jeep Gladiator. Loving the info on here, will be a regular.

    Cheers

Thanks, I'm a ute kinda guy. I also have a 351 powered XD, an original XY 4x4, a HJ45 landcruiser with a 6.2 chevy diesel, an F6 Tornado and a GU patrol.

HotFR8, you're not far away from me, I spend a lot of time down there with the ferals.

The Ferals  , now that is an interesting club. Do you know a guy with what looks like a 35 Ford Pickup with the V8 Cummins ? Your XY 4x4 would be a collectors item if in good condition.

  7. welcome,
from another former lurker with a 29 Pontiac tourer.
    cheers

HOTFR8, no mate, that's a new one to me. If one of the ferals owns he's been very very careful to keep it quiet. Hot rods are not welcome in the club.

The XY is a bare metal shell at the moment getting a V8 transplant. Sadly the original engine was missing when I bought it so it will never be matching numbers.

Double drat, would love to see some pics and maybe share some info with you on the 29s. Drop me a line if you like, aussiecowboy@gmail.com

Ask around as it has been at Chopped a few times now. he is a member of the Ferals and goes on many of the outings but the Pickup would not have been to any Ferals events.

Not really a HAMB friendly vehicle but one that has a lot of history to it being so unusual.

    Where are you exactly ?

ha ha, thankfully yes as most of my cars are American!

Won't be at Yarrawonga sadly, my job keeps me away from home a lot.

Nah it's only those brittish cars that had the LH threads on the LH side of the car :D.

This is GM and Ford country but I was hearing the other day a Nissan is about to enter our V8 super car series

God help us if it wins! We have to do something though, Commodore only has a few years left before GM phases it out and Falcon not far behind. When they start racing Prius' and Volts around Bathurst though I'm giving motorsport up for good.
