Just wondering if my fuel size will be sufficient... ---- = Line Tank------------ Carter Mech Fuel pump-----Regulator----- Fuel Block ------ Two Holleys 450cfm And yes there will be a filter Tank to Mechanical pump is probably 8' ( 63 nova ) The motor is by no means a race motor 400 sbc 9:75to1 very mild cam, cast iron heads.... On my fuel block I will be mounting a nice PSI gauge.
should be fine. The engine HP kind of determines how much fuel you need. I'm running a single line to feed two holleys on my blower motor, but I have an electric pump back near the tank. I don't even remember what size the line is, I'm thinking -8 but it could be -6. been 15 years or so since I put it together
-6 is a 3/8 line, so you'd probably be just fine. I'm ***uming here that you've probably got a 3/8 line from the tank anyway, so anything larger than that wouldn't really make a whole lot of sense unless you want an 'in-line reservoir'.
Squirrel thanks for the info... I was going to go the Electric Fuel pump route but for the Look of my G***er I'm going for the Simple Look at Era correct, plus all in all the motor is perfect for now. I plan to drive the **** out of this car, love to take a cruze 1-3 hours away to a car show...
Boryca, you are correct I have a nice braided 3/8 line currently, just putting a tunnel ram on it where there wasn't one
When you get it all sorted out you can bring it to the Meltdown Drags in Byron Ill. this july 21-22 ,check out the web site for more info www.meltdowndrags.com
