.......well sort of....did this job for GM about a month ago.....for the supercharged Cobalt....Really kinda O/T.......but WTF....When ya get to draw and paint HOTROD related stuff for the m***es...... apparently, there are 4 images plastered all over the downtown core.....I won't see them..I live in the bush and never leave the pit.(studio) But **** it...I may go to Columbus.
Its cool to see monster art out in public like that. I dig it. if I go to the dealership and ask for the Monster car, do you think they would know what I was talking about............ How about doing a monster train/bus on the side of a Colbalt...
Very very cool... too bad Cobalt buyers will be expecting that thing to smoke the tires and have a shifter sticking out of the sunroof! HAA, just kidding, awesome oldschool painting there pal - you rock!
Now that is a much more appropriate market than the Mini campaign a couple years ago. Nice work Jeff.
Hey thanks everyone for the kind words.....when the A.D called me about this job......I thought to myself" This ain't ever gonna fly"....Big corporate types just would not go for this.....well....I was wrong......life is stranger than fiction. Clark....c'mon....fire something up in your stable and lets meet in Columbus!.....Jeem?, Chad? It is a real spur of the moment thing for me.....my wife had a moment ..never been there.....(never really been anywhere)
I already gave my registration to my father and told my wife I wasn't going. That would be a good one....piss my father and wife off in one shot ( I couldn't piss my father off) Clark
WOW!! That is great ART! TTC 'cars haven't looked so good since the old "P.C.C." fleet. Nice work! -Keith
Jeff thats awesome man, how did you score a job like that? I hope they don't grafitti them- they ****in destroyed the ones in Montreal.
Real cool, Brush. Did you actually paint the streetcars yourself, or did you do the art, then the Ad people put it on some vinyl decal type stuff? Are Cobalts rear wheel drive?
