Yesterday I fit a set of wilson welding lincoln backing plates on my roadster. Does anyone have a part # handy for front brake hoses that will work. Also anyone have a brake shoe part #.Mine came with 2 inch shoes and I need one for early ford drums. Thanks,Louie

on factory plates use shoe number #286-29 its 12x1.75 and hose #bh36722 raybestos works good too! this numbers are for factory plates so you should still call wilson to see if they would work with his plates.

Call Bob and tell him you need the narrower shoes and he'll probably ship 'em right out. The brake set my friend Richard received had the same problem but Bob fixed it in short order.

I'm looking for the same shoe also. I tryed all the local parts houses looking for the 286-29
12x1.75 shoe and it never came up. Is there another number for this shoe.My 2 inch shoe is rubbing I got my kit from speedway I called to order some 1.75 shoes they cant get them by there selves you have to get the whole kit there supplier wont give them the part number for just the shoes must be top secret. Everything I find in ford is 11 inch or 12 by 2 inch. Thanks

If you have the br*** seats in your wheel cylinders and are using 3/16" line you probably need a BH49927 hose. This hose is 19" overall.

I was not familiar with the other hose mentioned, so I looked it up, all the pictures show plastic wear rings on it , might not look good on an open wheel car.
