Anyone know where I can acquire some steering knuckle shims for my '54 chevy 3100? Are they anything special or can I order something from mcmaster carr or someplace like that?

  2. Generally the shims come with a new king pin kit. Doubt you can buy them single. All they are is shim stock, no reason you can't just make some. The other option is to go to an alignment shop and ask if they have some left overs you could buy. It usually don't take all they supply with the Pin Kit to do the job.
