I was hoping to get some helpful hints on replacing the front crank out regulator. The lighting in my garage is pretty poor, but had my drop light out. I was was wondering if someone could give a few tips on the best way of replacing it. The old was is just plane worn out, and I have a really nice original to replace it. I see the two screws the hold the lift into the frame, and a the screw that hold the crank out knob. Then the two crew that hold the regulator in the bracing in the cowl.. Just thought I would ask what the best way to go about first ? Does the windshield frame ***y need to come out... Sorry for all the questions but the Ford manual I bought, does not have the coach/body shop directions in it...

  2. Tilt the window out first. Remove the dash and you can get to all the screws needed to change out the regulator...
