Okay, it's not my problem but when's the last time you saw an all-aluminum 427/4 speed coupe flogged like a binging crackhead with a go kart? I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with the driver's cahones or the benefits of a low center of gravity. Turn up the sound for this one, the power-shifted chirps off into the distance are awesome. This is from the ******** Happening in New York. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVijPK-Rqdk&feature=player_embedded
I didn't check out the vid, but saw it in person when he was testing traction.. Fun to watch, and a nice car to see up close. Tony
I'm a big fan of lots of HP in a hot rod, but do you know how many people have been hit, injured, or killed buy someone doing donuts on the street with people standing by on the side lines. Kool car but that could have ended badly for anyone of those dudes standing on the sideline. Nice car though.
guy seems to know what hes doing.can handle a car pretty good. now about being on the side lines. people been doing that kinda **** since cars first started racing. considering how long thats been and how many people have really stood on the side lines compared to how many people have been hit seems like good odds in the spectators favor.but id want to be a ways from him if it were me!!
well i cant argue with that!!lol but man we can get killed doing anything.im not the most careful guy in the world either. but im sure not gonna stand on the side of the road where a guy is slinging his car around.lol
I am a big fan of HP, Racing, and motor sports in general. BUT! over the past few years, how many times has it ibeen in the news, spectators, at non controled events, (like that one) getting hurt. WHat these types of incidents cause for us (motorheads) is non repaireable. I remember that goof with the dragster, trying to run it on a non prepaired surface, and killing a girl as a result. I bet he wishes he could do it over again.... It was cool, I like the car, but responsibility would keep one of my High HP cars out of that situation.... I hope I am not getting old....
I guess that's why they call them "Accidents", Now if it was a gaggle of Paris Hilton's standing along the road side I wouldn't have a problem with it
I am visualizing dozens of Paris Hiltons flying through the air. Mmmmm, for one brief moment, all is right with the world...
[QUOTE Now if it was a gaggle of Paris Hilton's standing along the road side I wouldn't have a problem with it[/QUOTE] I'd pay to see that....
We get guys like that once in awhile at our local car show. One chirp of the tires and they are banned.
Hey ! I resemble that remark, I'm one of those guys on the sidelines and partake in the action as well. He knows that coupe and knows how to drive it, sure it's dangerous but not one person is going to live forever. You got to live a little !
Yeah, the old guy's never did stuff like that when they were younger did they? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHvbdGoFQtI
That's about as much fun as you can have with you clothes on or driving the "15 once fuel coupe" . Stand on the side line at your own risk. Private road, ******** hot rod event, have at it. Now we have something to show people who don't know what drive it like you stole it means.
well ill be damned ,lol a few guys who kinda agree with me.looks like alot of fun. but id still would prefer to be out of the way!! lol. oh hell ill admit it. we used to do damn near the same thing when i was a young gun. and with people everywhere.i quess we were lucky, NO ACCIDENTS.lol although we did have a 55 chevy roll over and the guy kinda smushed his arm cause he was holdin on to the outside of the door.
