15 hours of filming for 15 minutes of air time. other than not showing flem and his fathers interview and original 1950's footage of flems father jalopy racing at ascot i thought it was very professional. i really dug my brothers PPE part and squeaks initiation.

Axle without a doubt the most enjoyable hour of tv I have watched in ages. Very cool show. Could have done without the meathead, you should have kicked him in the balls when he grabbed you by the shoulder.

  14. HAHAHAHAHA!! Riiiiiiiiight... I'll believe that when me shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.

I'd have to agree on meathead. I've watched the series so far and like it. Except having to listen to him. The show on moonshine cars was fun. Didn't really care for the one they did on death cars. Just seemed fuckin morbid. Even for me.

Congrats to the Shifters and the folks putting the show together. It's a rare thing to find an enjoyable TV show anymore. I'd love to have seen the '50s footage you're talking about.

surf monkey, I copied it to a dvd last night. I have not had time to watch it and see how it came out. If you are interested in a copy, send me a pm and for the cost of a dvd and shipping it across the water, I'll make you a copy(if it came out all right)

Definately the best hour of tv I have seen in a long time. I thought they did a real good job and used some awesome old footage. It was very inspirational for the outside world if they ewatched it which is always good. Hope they keep doing more shows.

I didn't catch all of it, but have the Tivo set to catch it next time.
My personal favorite part was when they had Axle talking and sitting right behind him is that Caddy Flatty powered roadster with the polished Cyclones, and the swoopy exhaust. Hell YEAH!

I enjoyed it, the host could be worse, could be better....

I'm just not a fan of the Rat Rod term anymore, though I think that's what they wanted to hear...

Caught the show last night. One of the best "rod" shows I have seen on the tube. No drama, just cool cars. Nice to see the PPE running down the strip!!

Congrats on the exposure, (not the inititiation pics), you guys deserve it for keeping the trad torch burnin'.

I thought it was a great show, the old lakes footage was real nice. The one flaw was showing the black & white Chevrolet factory production line while talking about Model T Fords. Bill Goldberg has a good voice and does a good job as host/narriator in my opinion.

Caught it last night, good show, lots of good footage. The whole 80's 90's smoothy pastel stuff got irritating for me personally, thankfully that part was short, and they showed lots of neat shit.

Goldberg might come off a bit cheesy in the show but he's a huge car fan in general. If it goes fast and makes lots of noise you bet yer butt he's probably got one. And personally I'd really not want to get on his bad side, 275lbs of muscles and mean headed for you, with the specific frame of mind of hurting you would definately not be a good thing.

Wonder if he's a lurkin on here now cuz he's been talkin to Axle....Hey Bill!!
