IMHO the bottom line is that you're building something for yourself and your family to enjoy; the level of completion that you take it to is up to you and none of use really have any say in it. There will always be the armchair "mechanics" who will question something or say "I'd have done it this way..." blah blah blah. Who cares what they'd have done? Its your car, do it however it suits you. Personally I dig the hell out of it and look forward to more progress. Eli
Plumbid, looks great. You ready to paint my '39 Olds coupe gasser? Just kidding. Can't wait to see it all together.
Looking Good Plum !!! Can't wait to see it done. I like your attitude of doing it your way.......Thats what its all about. Your earning your Hot Rod diploma real quick with this build.
Looking Good...Will the fire wall stay white? Or are you going to paint it a different color? I think it looks good white...The motor's gonna stand out nice in there!
Hey, the thing look GREAT even without the fenders. The rears wheels would look better to be the same color as the coupe.
looks fantastic!!! I am not a fan of multi thousand dollar paint jobs on race cars now find a old sign painter for some old school graphics your 8.8 will hold up no problem mustang guys are going 9's with them I ran one of these in my last drag car worked great http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keyword=8.8%20mini%20spool&dds=1 100 mph in the 1/4 will not be hard with 400 hp in that thing I would suggest some type of roll bar / cage for your kids sake keep going ... subscribed
