I haven't been on HAMB as much as I should have recently so I apologize if this is a re-post, but I thought it was worth it. This is a 1939 do***entary about the River Rouge plant and has some excellent footage of the whole car building process, from research and testing to the actual manufacture of Ford's. It also shows that industrial recycling is not a new idea.

    Enjoy!

Not long after this film was made Henry Ford built an additional plant at this site to produce B24 Liberators. At the heighth of B24 production there was a B24 produced every hour. A**** other war effort production he also built Jeeps, tanks, and aircraft engines.
