I love traditional rods. But sometimes I like to look at cars that are a little bit more "experimental". They don't meet the HAMB's striuct definitions. Do you have another forum that you watch where people are building cars, but they don't necessarily meet the HAMB definitions?
Shoot I thought all this airbag stuff and such as that was the "experimental" part of this traditional forum.
The "traditional" label seems to be subject to interpretation. Air bags and T-5's are okay. Diesels and fuel injection are not. I am thinking of the spirit of hot rodding. The old timers dropped newer engines and transmissions into older bodies to increase performance. I saw a great looking hot rod that was rear engined. Definitely not traditional, but it was in the spirit. (And it didn't have air bags).
I have a car in the works that looks more traditional than a lot of cars on here but I wouldn't dare pop the hood to show off the LS1. But its a kustom so why would I
Yep. http://www.dogfightmag.com/forum/ It is a Forum for Performance oriented Car stuff, and it doesnt have to be Traditional. On the HAMB, it does have to be Traditional. And you dont have to agree with the HAMB interpretation of Trad, but you do have to keep it in mind when you post stuff here.
