    Well guys.....it's here!...I know some will be mad and some have the originals!....but couldn't see spending that much for the old one!...i bought a new one!......santa came early!

    that is not bad, especially compared to the prices they were fetching not to long ago.

    I've been looking for a while!......there was one on eBay about a couple of months ago...sold for 1800! But it had everything.....there's still one on eBay with Rochesters.....1800 .....also....calling ****ster next! Need carb parts!.....

    Really nice looking intake and a hell of a lot cheaper than the real one .
    Now the painfully part is getting 2 carbs that match !
    Killer set up no matter what it costs in the end !

    Very similar to my OEM one, not as much radius and more square in profile on outside edges at top. Casting boss for rear carburetor bolt is more pronounced when compared to OEM product. I'd still be happy with it, just add patina :D A lot nicer than my 6x2 Edelbrock log manifold

    Yeah, as the owner of an original I was pretty pissed off to hear they were reproducing these. Probably cut the value of mine in half. Oh well, guess it still beats not having an X-1.

    I felt the same as I have 5 of the originals. But, not neccessarily, as there are still guys that will want the "original" just like the 97's and 94's.
