VLV 15 via Route 66 Road Trip

Great I see you're having lots of fun on your trip. We went by Graceland in 04 on a trip from Houston TX to Chicago. We were in a bit of a hurry, so we didn't see the car museum. Thanks for sharing.

We left Conway, AR this morning and drove hard in the cool of the day until we hit Route 66 at 1:30 today in Oklahoma City, it was 90 and the Mercury was struggling with the heat in the city so we headed on through El Reno, Yukon and stopped at Weatherford, OK which is a cool little 66 town.









I know it doesn't look like much but this shot was a big deal for us, it was the first time we pulled onto 66.

We were broke down for a day but are back on the road and should catch up on posting pictures latter today.

 

Been pretty busy the last few days and have neglected this thread, to follow real time use the Facebook blog in my sig.

 

Got back from Vegas yesterday. Temp was in the mid '70"s.

They came in the resturant while we were eating and hung out with us for a while, I didn't realize that was theirs.
