Spent a while up there today and i have not got much to show, just got some of the front loom taped up and now i have reverse light.
Dash lights and lights left on buzzer which i did not know was there, bonus.
Spent some time fitting a fuse box wired to a running relay, this was for extra electrics like the fan, lamda sensors which are now wired and working to the two gauges. I figured it would be good to know what is going on with the mixture in both rotors.
Found an 8mm t piece so have started to run the fuel lines.
I got told of an old trick to keep the fuse box wires connected to the fuse box, tape it round and feel with silicone hence the red on the bottom of the fuse box.

Well a quick walk round the swap meet and i had my two oxford grilles, thanks bob. then i met up with guy for my prop, many thanks guy youre a star.
Any way i managed to get up the work shop and fit my prop and also the rear of the fuel lines just need to secure to the body..
Then i thought about the mounting for 2 battery cut offs so i made an ally bracket to go under the drivers seat

Well it is loads of little bits now, i had a problem with the carb.I did put a gasket set in it and cleaned it out not touching any settings but it seemed to have a stuck float so rather than hit it with a hammer i swopped it for a good second hand one i bought.
Bit of a ****** to swop but it now has fuel returning back to the tank which it did not have before.
Going to load up a better video, really wierd thing is that i have managed to make a rotary sound like an mgb 1800.

Spent some time up the workshop just fiddling so although not alot to show i still had a good day.
I got my grille back from a friend who blasted the crud off, this is just going to be polished with black fire place polish.
The look of this grille works better with no bumper so well happy.
I spent most of the day just letting the engine run checking for leeks and parsnips and making sure it did not get hot hot, so i could not spend alot of time actually in the workshop.

Been up the workshop and got some bits done.
The grille has been polished with fire grate polish and has come out just as i wanted it to. next on the list was to mount the steering column. This was done by welding a stainless tube across the dash and using abit of the mazda column mount welded to the stainless tube.
The original shelf bracket still bolts in so the heater controls have somewhere to live.

Had a package to pick up from me dads today containing an audi 80 hydra boost servo. Went up the workshop and started to fit it, run out of welding gas,******.
Anywho, here are some pictures of ot resting in place as the metal was still a tad warm.
Have the pump on order to pressure so at least i can start running the brake pipes.

Had no camera for a while so now it is back there are some updates,
both inner sills have been boxed for extra strength, all brake lines are run and the clutch is bled amd working so a test drive is only round the corner.

Well, one crossmember under the torsion bars, it was slightly cruddy and i thought whille its in the workshop why not, still needs finishing. last job before i left the workshop was to paint where the brake pipes and petrol pipes needed securing so it is ready for tomorrow.
Off the stands tomorrow as i have to get the other M.O up the workshop through loss of the lock up.

It never ceases to amaze me how long everything takes or just how quick a day goes, I now have a brake pedal with pressure but i may need to fit residual valves or i might still have abit of air in the system.
Here are some more update pictures and all happening in real time.

Had ago at mating the mazda wiper motor to the M.O mechanism, I done it....................But if i had ten minutes it might have made one swoop.lol.The gearing in the mo wiper mechanism was a worm to a big gear that had a little gear on it to a big big gear that work the sliding mechanism, I reckon I could have pulled a car on to my trailer.

So back to the drawing board and now I have got rid of the M.O gears. More progress tomorrow.
