Sun 504 machine

I got my 'new' 504 running and it works great! I'm having a ball with it. What i want to do is be able to test modern distributors on it as well. How would i go about making a modern distributor fire the xenon light?
Any other improvements?

At one time Sun made an HEI adapter for them. I don't know if they are still available. I'm sure someone like GMC Bubba would have the answer.
I'm sure if you could look inside one, it would probably be a pretty simple circuit to duplicate.
