That was great, thanks for sharing. I am doing an A coupe, so it provided some extra push to keep chipping away. I really like the artillary wheels, they fit the style perfectly.
Looks killer and sounds really nice. Now point it towards Beatersville Memorial Day Weekend at Phoenix Hill Saloon in Louisville, KY. You wont be disappointed that you did!
man aint that the truth!!!! i used to not be able to wait for the first ride.just get so excited id forget what the hell i was doing.now on the first rides you couldnt drive a 10p nail up my butt with a 20lb sledge hammer.im usually glad when its over.lol. oh yeah love the ride brother. now enjoy the hell out of her.!!!
Very Nice!!! And BTW, it seems like to me it really didn't take you that long to build either.....what was it, about a year?
Thanks guys! It was a blast drove it another 25 miles or so Saturday. So far so good. It took me just under 3 years to complete it. I bought the body in June of 2009 and really got going on it in July.
You did well!!! Got my first ride completely yogether last week so I can relate to the feeling. Great looking car. 48 Poncho
Wait until the nervousness of watching and hearing every little sound and bump goes away and you can relax and enjoy the ride. That's when the REAL fun of owning a hot rod sets in. After that you'll cruise for an hour and it will seem like only 10 minutes have gone by or after filling up and looking down and seeing the gas gauge on 1/2 full and wondering where the gas went and wishing you could drive forever. Congrats on finishing what you started. Frank
