chirping the tires in a stock model A

bored, so thought i'd post a quick vid of a little jr. burnout in my 31 coupe powered by a stock banger. who says you can't have a lil' fun with these old underpowered machines. hoping after I toss a head/intake/exhaust on it that i'll be able to chirp second too.. haha.

anyway...

Thats a stock model A! Well then I should be able to get my banger 32 truck to do that too! You got any mods on the engine at all?

 

nope, only thing it has is bigger exhaust with a cheapo cherry bomb style muffler(for now) and a good tune up.

i'm planning on sticking a better head on it, upgraded distributor (or maybe mag?) single downdraft, tube header and torque tube exhaust on it as soon as possible. hoping that will wake it up a little more too.

 

We need to race the A's! The video is awesome!

 

Ha, no way, I've driven yours and it's FAST... Let me get the head and all the rest of the shit on it first and then maybe if I'm feeling brave. We should take both cars up to the Hot Rod Eruption Drags this year! Last year I was the only banger there!

Thanks! I actually yanked it off and painted the firewall last weekend. I'm a little torn though, I think the hood is going back on!

Be careful with that damn spring. There is alot of tension there. The rest is pretty simple. I found some good step by step rebuild instructions on the Fordbarn when I had to go through the rear in my coupe. Good luck!
