  4. Rollie, that "Hand Painted" piece is really cool.

Nice work, as usual...and lots of different things and different contributers!

    Here's a vintage suitcase I vandalized.

Rollie, in that "Hand Painted" panel, did you airbrush the shadowing in first and then stripe over it or what? It looks great. If I can figure out how to upload this pic, these are the creepers I painted and gave away at my Memorial Day party this year.

The orange shadow on the letters is painted on but all the other shadows you see are just that! REAL SHADOWS ! On that panel I put my hand print on the back first {it's 3/16 " clear plexi } then sprayed over that with yellow. The lettering and striping are then done on the front so it gets a real shadow because of the thickness of the plexi !

  18. Finally got something to show. The hogs were done last week but I was not near a computer.... the Demon is based on a 2-D decal that I came across while digging through one of my Lindberg 1/12 models. I liked that oldies look of it.

These are masters for new gear shift knobs. I think the Hogs might have some biker appeal. The Demon is pure old hot rod.

Check out the rest at hobbyknobs.com

    Thanks, Dan

    Alive and almost kickin'.

    TG,
That's a heck of a lot better work than I was doing at 12! Nice job. You have the right idea. Keep drawing, be proud of your work and ask questions as they come up. That's what learning is all about. Don't get hung up on making your work try to look just like someone elses. Develope your own style......... Most of all, ENJOY!!

  22. I meant to post these last week but got side tracked. Just trying some different paint on the basic HAMB knob. The grey one is Hammertone and the green one is Duplicolor Candy over a silver base.

Practiced hitting a moving target this morning. lol Both are works in progress.
The purse is soft leather and was somewhat challenging.
The green thing is one of those flimsy top hats that every bar hands out on New Years Eve. Even the weight of the brush caused it to flex.
    Just goofin' around.

    Great Show This Week.

I know im late but Ive been gone till now. I just finished this golf cart ,I molded in the headlights ,frenched in some tail lights, flaked it with apple red kandy and scalloped it with black pearl, and pinstriped when finished. the other pics are from a benifit bike run I striped at this weekend for a lady with cancer ( the girlfriend of the guy with the black and red pan) it was a great time and what a great bunch of people to hang out with ,I didnt make any money for myself ,all the money went to the benifit. The guy that owns the black pan wanted a rose painted on it so I had my wife do that.
