Stopped in Williams, really cool little town.

 

Stopped for the night at the El Rancho and stayed in the "Robert Taylor" room...I could live at this place.

I drove part of route 66 on my move from georgia to cali.Pretty rough and some heavy winds.Could peel paint,still cool.

We made it to the Blue Swallow in Tucumcari, Nm last night, Kevin and Nancy are great people and the motel is awesome.













Then it was off to the Midpoint Cafe in Adrian, Tx.

 

Just west of Amarillo, Tx we stopped at the Cadillac Ranch...I've wanted to see these since seeing them as a kid on the show "On the Road" with Charles Kuralt.
