England is in my thoughts and prayers.

 

****ing scariest **** last night watching the news as it happened. Affects you a helluva lot more when you got family over there. Took us all night to get through to my brother who is staying in london, also have a cousin holidaying in london, brother is safe, havent heard from my cousin yet. Terrorism doesnt prove anything, wish they would find something else to do like build a HOT ROD.

 

Greetings from central London. Total chaos yesterday, but extraordinary scenes of courage & resilience. Most of us saw this as almost inevitable, but the British 'Bulldog Spirit' counts for a lot, and the way the city has dusted itself down & got back to normal today is incredible.

We will not be beaten.

I too, grew up in England during the time of intense IRA bombings, but I was up North and to be honest it kinda was like water off a duck's back, it never felt real. But somwhow it does today, probably because of the HAMB and the fact that I've met so many good mates through here and a bunch of 'em are Londoners.

This isn't gonna stop me from going over in August, the day we give in to the terrorists is the day they win.

My biggest fear is an attack on a soft target like Disneyworld or Universal Studios, it would be easy to do and it would cripple world economies.
I'm truly scared for the future, and the future of my children and also sane Muslims who'll inevitably be embroiled in this mess.

I couldn't help but notice that there were a lot of victims who were non white, I also saw a bunch of rescue workers, doctors and nurses helping the victims that weren't either.

The attackers did this without discrimination to one kind or another, they did it for reasons that are truly beyond my comprehension.

It ****s because I'll be looked at funny despite the fact that I would have gladly given my life to save someone elses.

This is a very sad day.

After 9/11, my wife & I decided we wanted to drive to the AMEMB & sign the book of condolences the next day, but in the middle of the night she woke up screaming from a nightmare where we had gone to London & got caught in the tube during a bomb blast. She is really freaked out watching this on the telly...

Glad to hear from the HAMBers in the area - hope everyone stays safe - thoughts for the folks lost & their families.

 

Just heard from a friend in London....his mates wife was killed at Kings Cross in one of the trains

 

Glad to hear that all of our UK HAMB friends and relatives are OK. Still ****s for all the rest. We're right behind you for your 7-7 just as you were for our 9-11.

 

****ing hell. It's Saturday night and the police are evacuating the entire Birmingham city centre. (Birmingham is England's second city). The have received 'intelligence'. It's all over the news over here, all pubs, clubs, gigs and homes are being cleared....

This is not a political topic, far from it. this is a life and death topic and few if any of us have the horse power to do a damn thing about it. Extremist Muslims want to end life as we know it and all I ever see on the tube is a bunch of PC *****s that don’t want to hurt there feelings. It makes me want to vomit. Were damn lucky to have the leaders we have in the English specking world. They have the guts to make a stand even thou there hands are tied.

Stupid *** terrorists.

They think they can scare Londoners after seeing they're strong resolve as Hitler's Luftwaffe, V-1 buzz bombs, and the V-2 rockets bombarded them and it only made them tougher?

Islamic Terrorists have no logic whatsoever.

But i guess thanks to the ***** *** Spanish goverment pulling out of Iraq when they got bombed, and gave the terrorists more reasons to bomb.


We americans also have a problem because we pulled out of Beirut when they bombed the marine barracks. so they thought, ok, bombing works.

 

Its 1.40am here & the news reported 20,000 people evacuated from birmingham city center, the bomb squad have carried out 4 controlled explosions & are looking at one more, a police spokesman has stated that they think this is not related to the tube bombings. :-(

 

Not to sound like a total *****, because I DO care about all of you Limeys, but PUH LEASE DONT BOMB STRATFORD UPON AVON!!!!!!!!! Kinda partial to it.

What strange Islamic god do I have to pray to? I wonder if they take sacrificial burning of Ford emblems??
