tunnel ram linkage....... Lets see your setup ?

    I have a weiand tunnel ram matched with TWO holley 450's thats are going together as we speak...

    I need a kit...

    Several kits out there, I'd like to see a few pictures of your setup, summit and jegs sells two basic/simple kits for $30.

    I should also note my carbs are in-line.....

    gasserjohn that is the kit another member and I were talking about, simple cheap and effective as he noted...

  7. not a tunnel ram but the same thing, one to one linkage with little heim end ends on a 1/4 inch solid rod

  9. Another close up shot of the 450's on a different car, you can see that a 1/4 inch rod has been put through a different kind of end to go inside the big hole of the arm

    i'm not the guy to tell you what works best, but i can tell you this one isn't working out too well. the principle of the slipper is kinda neat although it would tend to run the front cylinders lean... for me it has been a headache. not sure who makes it. watch for "slipper" linkages. i'll be watching closely!

  11. I bought one of those at a swap meet, I didn't like it either and just used parts of it for the low 2 X 4 setup I posted earlier.

  13. Swapmeet section has linkage like I used on the tunnel ram, well the rod and ends. I threaded the rod and used jam nuts to hold it all in place with some never seeeze on the fittings into the carbs.
