I just had two quotes for 50 a piece for wheels. One from Beach Cities Powder coating in RB and one from Pyrmid.

Bring them over here, with the powder you want to use, and I will help you shoot and bake them. I can't help with the frame, but if it will fit in my oven we can cook it.

I hear that. I even made a simple oven extension for the door. I can powder my own things for a lot less.

Move to Idaho. Local guy does a '32 Ford frame for $250. I can't buy paint for what he charges.

I have had stuff done over at Verne's chrome plating in Gardena, CA.
A recent quote for 2 inner fenders, a radiator support and seven other small to moderate sized pieces was on the 300.00 to 400.00 dollar range. Hit up another place in the SFV and got the same quote, but it helps if they see the pieces. I am still shopping around.

My buddy charges $50 a wheel and $500 a frame starting, this is for single stage coating...

  18. Be sure to check out Denmack Industries (562) 634-2714. The did a set of wheels for my Model A for $125 back in the nineties. Included blasting and coating. I found some cheaper places at the time but when I looked over the completed parts waiting to deliver I decided to go with Denmack. You might also check out "Sun Dial Powder Coatings", (818) 767-4477. I saw one of thier ads for powder coating patio furniture but have no idea of their prices or quality.
