Looking for a bench seat that will fit my sectioned and chopped shoebox ford. My stock bench isnt gonna cut it and Im trying my hardest to keep from using buckets...Im not really excited about the style/shapes of some Van benches but they're popular for model As but what is everyone using in their customs? The 54 Chevy built on MG had what looked to maybe be a van seat.

Boy, nothing like pressure Bert! :D

Just did this one last week for a local shoe box with a 5" section. I will be taking out the extra head room in his ride with a mild chop in the near future. I modified and used the stock tins to give the seat frame that original feel and style. If your at all interested Id be more than glad to talk seating with ya. Also check out the social group in my sig.

van center "take out" seats are another good candidate.

I am thinking about newish truck seats. Say about 2000 or so model year GM. I measured a set and it would fit my caddy about perfect.

No.... That is a brand new scratch built seat frame for a Modified shoebox (5" section job)
With Modified original end tins for the new seat frame.
