Just got my hemi coupe ready for the road.I noticed it to be very loud and crackly on the left side but so quiet you can't hear it run on the right.Left side sounds like a 2 stroke small engine crackle.I too have zoomie headers on it.When i put the baffles in it gets a lot louder. Can anyone head me in the right direction as what to check first. All pipes are burning same temp..Just really loud on the left side.Thank you in advance

Look for grayish-white residue around the area where you think the leak is.

While its running take a long piece of vacuum hose, put one end near the area where you think its leaking & the other at your ear and you should be able to pinpoint where the leak is.

Fire it up in the garage at night in the absolute dark, a leak will look like blue sparks. GB.

Good one. Also try a little Marvel Mystery Oil down the carb, anything with a leak will smoke quite a bit.

I would like to thank all those that sent a reply to my noise question.I have gasket-less headers but I crawled under my coupe with a wrench and.....I'll be damn....I had a header bolt loose.Never run into that before or never thought that would make a popping noise thru the header. You all made a believer out of me.You were absolutely spot on. Thank you for taking the time to help.I do the same if I can.Appreciate it,Mike
