I remember back to the 50s, my uncle bought a brand new 1952 Skoda, (google them) they were ugly way back then. Also my partner once owned a 59/60 Skoda Octavia, luckily it was before I met her..
This looks like a small Packard Skoda 1200/1201 The sedan delivery is very rare version All old Skodas have a weird central tube chassis with a swing axle in rear. Not customizing friendly... http://www.vitvar.webzdarma.cz/prot.htm
Wow, that styling and performance for only two hundred dollars! Cheap at half the price!! I am sure I drank Zaporozec on tap at a bar in the Czech Republic once,...
Zaporozec has a cool looking aircooled V4. It's popular for home made custom bikes in Eastern countries... http://www.fotosik.pl/pokaz_obrazek/a33174ee1e9c8cc2.html http://www.zapomania.cba.pl/index_pliki/Galeria.htm

As promised. Startin with UKKustoms KoppaKruiser Austin 50. This car is as well built as any top notch US kustom, and better than most. These will give you an idea of how little this car is: Another UKKustoms ride. A Ford Capri, a lot milder thou Nads on here has a bad as one too but dont have pictures handy right now. Austin Devon. Needs a little clean up imo but tons of potential. Volvo Amazon. Totally bad ass Volvo PV These should prove that you dont need american steel to have a neat ride.
The only feature of the 50s Skoda was the fact that the windscreen and rear window glasses were interchangeable. WOW !
Isn't that a Tatra at about 2:02? It's the only one in the clip and it's like none of the others. Some of the '30's and '40's models seem to have some possibilities.
I think there was thread a few years back about a group of german hambers kustomizing a Wartburg. seem to remember it was pretty kool too.
This? http://auta5p.eu/katalog/skoda/skoda_935_01.htm That's a Skoda 935 rear engined prototype-watercooled flat4.
Some wild IFA F9/Bug mashup project: http://ifa-ff9.blogspot.com/ Aero Minor II, looks like scaled down 40 Ford. Another weirdo-FWD 2stroke 2cylinder... http://minor.kvalitne.cz/storage/200912201304_auto1948_03-minor.jpg http://www.coachbuild.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=38949 This one sold with a spare body for 20k something Czech Crowns-that's about 1200USD
Wow! I've been away from my computer for almost a week and this thread is still going good. Tubman, I know nothing about Skoda's other than the name from travel's in Europe of late. As I stated before, everything I've put up on this thread I just used my browser and put up the link.
