The drivers seat can adjust forward and back. And the p***enger seat mounts to the front pins which allow it to lift up and forward to give room for access to the back seat.

Doing the interior in my deuce delivery and I managed to put together both sides of the front seats with all the stock hardware. When you get everything adjusted right the drivers seat works good. I've hoarded my seats for over 20 years waiting for the right car. I used the stock springs but the upholstery shop stuffed them with fairly hard foam cause my 250 lbs was crushing them. Your car is looking good.

I have an uncle that has invented an oil purifying system that I have on my car. It uses the temperature of the oil and restricts it down so that it is super thin inside of the device. Then because of the temperature it allows all the water and gasoline, that has contaminated the oil, to turn into vapor and exit the top. It takes about 2 hours to go through all the oil but at the end the oil is completely clean and free of the harmful water and gas. Which are the major causes of contamination in the oil that decreases the effectiveness of the oil. One test he did was he pored 6 ounces of water into 4 gallons of oil and in 6 hours all of the water was gone.

The contaminated oil with the water is on the left. And the clean oil after the 6 hours is on the right.

Pretty simple to install. It just connects into the oil system and then drains into the bottom of the oil pan.

If anyone wants any info on these just let me know and Ill get you in touch with my uncle.

the oil filteration is that in place of an oil filter and if so does it allow you to run longer between changes or just act as a filter.

Ive read that a lot of people dont run oilfilters on flatheads because it lowers availiable oil pressure or something. Correct me if that is way off.

I want to use the flathead that came with my truck but havent done too much research yet. so what are your reasons for what you went with. Besides the obvious one to support your uncles invention.

also are there any plans to make your filteration system look vintage even though it obviously wasnt availiable back then. just curious.

I had a 28 Stutz Straight 8 in for Bodywork 2 weeks ago it had the same system installed and that was a factory installation. I can't remember what the name was but i can find out if you want.

It doesn't replace the oil filter just cleans the oil. It definitely allows you to run way longer between oil changes. On a gasoline engine it will keep the oil clean and the viscosity of the oil good for up to 30,000 miles. And because the oil viscosity is good the entire time it reduces the engine wear, and can slightly improve the gas mileage.

I have it because I want to make sure that my oil is as clean as possible the entire time I have this car. Especially with how expensive it would be to ever fix this motor.

As for the looks, I don't think ill do anything to it. My hood will be down 90 percent of the time and when I do open the hood ill open the drivers side. So Its not really going to be an eyesore to me.

that all makes sense 30,000 per oil change doesnt sound too bad.

as far as looks I was thinking more for marketing them. im sure a lot of guys on here might be interested in a vintage look. I dont want to take anything away from your setup because for you it works perfect.

anyway, yours is one of my favorite threads on the hamb keep up the good work

Just a small update. I got the rear tail lights mounted.

Can any of you guys figure out what type of lights these are off of? Ha

Bingo, schwinn headlights that I painted the inside with candy red. I had a bunch of them when I was building my 32' pickup. I was planning on having my gauges mounted inside of them. Kind of a floating look.

Looking real slick, forgive me but the rear lights don't seem to fit in with the rest of your build.

I think what looks weird is that its all chrome. I took one of the buckets and painted it black. I think that helps a ton.

Ya, I think it was just way to much silver. Now the buckets kind of remind me of 37' ford tail lights.

I got the transmission tunnel made. I had to make sure that it was tight against the brace that holds the lower part of the steering brace. Kind of a tricky piece, but it turned out good.

I made the access cover for the brake master cylinder. I messed around with my beadroller and was able to make an x without crushing the other bead when I went accross it from the other way. Kind of a neat look.

Got a few more things done inside the car.I got the floor finished, and made the gas pedal. Had to extend an original, but it works great.

Then I got the steering blister mounted, and re-shaped the Schroeder pitman arm to look more like an original ford pitman arm. Then I tapped the end of the Schroeder box and made a dummy set of threads so that I could bolt on a stock ford castle nut and washer. That way cosmetically it looks like all ford components without doing anything unsafe to the steering box.
