Tommy - two old guys about 45...awesome. You never know, they might still be there!! Thanks ****, but I did order the Speedway version on friday last week. I'm mounting the wheels on the Bud Groome Roadster, setting aside the originals as they still have the tires on them from when the car was built. I ordered Firestones so we can drive the car and enjoy it. Probably will balance with stick on wieghts.
Whay balance with stick ons? With Coker Firestones you're gonna need lead trim rings! Have them spin your adapter first to see if its balanced. Clark
Clark - thing is, the original tire wheel combo have no weights, I was trying to make it look the the new ones didnt - but you have a point and we have plenty of lead Racemad55 - I'm not sure I understand the question... r/Bob
T-Man, I'm up in Belfield, ND and am sometimes down by Bowman. I have an adapter you can use, are you up in the area anytime?
I am not but we will have trucks running to Belfield for a job in May/June, maybe we can pick a spot for one of my guys to grab it?
OK, I bought the Speedway piece, it arrived a day early. Worked like a charm. I will be balancing the adaptor before the new tires go. Easy to see that that could create an issue. Thanks again everyone!! Bob
