I just bought some Borla intercooled exhaust tips after having some of those Camaro square tips that look and sound like echo cans. I wonder if this will make a difference in the sound? My question is has anyone used these tips on a small block chevy and Do they do what they say?

I put the Borla tips on yesterday and there is a change in the sound. The square camaro type tips echoed while the borla tip smoothe the sound out. At low end speed the car has a very nice sound almost hypnotic. Nice change.

  3. Glad you're happy with it.

A quick question, in the past I have heard from people that the intercooling tips made a difference in performance, noticable difference. Not necessarily Borla tips but whatever brand tips. have you noticed a difference in performance or was someone just pushing my leg.

I can say that while I made a couple of adjustments and changes I feel an overall difference. the low end torque is better for sure. It sounds much more soild so it may be just fooling with my mind.

  5. See if you were like me it couldn't fool you, it may fool one of 'em but not all of 'em. :D

I have never fooled with any of them so I thought I would ask. They claim that it improves scavenging. I was just curious what you thought about it.
