Dropped front axle for a 39 Plymouth truck??

I want to drop the front of my Plymouth pick up around 3", anybody know if there is an off the shelf dropped front axle suitable, tube or I-beam that will use the original stub axles as well???? Have searched hi and low with no luck so far.....

 

Your best bet on this one will be to find some one on your side of the Atlantic who is capable of doing a 3" drop on the original axle. I don't think any one makes a custom axle for these trucks. A standard after market axle would be sized for early Ford or Chevrolet king pins.

 

I figured that might be the case but I don't think I can get the original axle dropped, right where the metal would need moving is a hole for the top damper mount.

Will start the search for somebody that can make me one!
