    Hey guys,

Ive been searching and searching, maybe someone can lead me in the right direction. Im looking for a 61-66 F100 with either 15x8 reversed chrome wheels or 15x10 regular chrome wheels.

Tire size and rear suspension would be awsome info too. Id do some mearsuring, but im on the other side of the world for another month.

Im trying to find out how wide a wheel I can fit in the back of my F100. I love a deep dish out back so any input would be awsome. Right now I have 15x8's with 255/60/15s.

I ran 10" wheels w/5-5.50" back space on the rear. I no longer run this combo but it worked fine. I only have it setting 2 inches below stock height so it may not work for something lower

tire size and any chance some pics? I know rooster has some 10s but hes not lowered in the back at all.

Im sure I can gain a touch of clearance by rolling the fender lips too.

    You mean like this?

1996 Dodge Dakota front end, two inch dropped spindle, Front Z-ed two and a half, front wheel base kicked forward two inches. (all using my Dakota kit available in the link below) Rear is stock axle, torque arm rear and a four inch C-notch.

I cant link the photo from my phone but there is a pic in my album on my profile of my old 68 f-100. Same suspension and bed floor/ fenderwells as your 66 so it might be helpful. 15x8 wheels w/ a 4" backspace, 275/60 tires. Rear spring flipped to underside of the axle with no lowering blocks. The tire would barely rub the inner wheelwell over a real uneven driveway but thats it, plenty of clearance on the outside.

packo are your rears 8s or 10s? And have you made the kit for 65-66 or is it still only for the straight axles?

Hale- Do you think a 10s with 3.75 backspacing would work? I found a set but I cant measure my junk out because im a LONG way from home. When I lower it I plan on just going spring under out back and thats it, unless I needs shims for pinion angle.

Rear wheels are 15 X 8 with a 1" positive offset. They were made from 1954-55 Ford p***enger centers with new hoops. I have new axles with a 2.375" brake gap, Baer disc brake kit and a 5/8" spacer.

The fronts are 16 X 7 with a neutral offset. Centers are 1949-52 Ford p***enger centers and new hoops.

Both front and rear wheels were made by Jimmy Rally America

Tires are Nitto 555R 275/60-15 rears and I had Falken 245/60-16 on the front and will be replaced soon.

I think i could've gotten away w/ a 10" wheel with a 4" backspace, might have had to roll the the fender lips a little. A 10" wheel with a neutral (5") backspace would prob work if the sidewalls were pretty square with little bulge.

Yea the guy with the wheels said he had em on a 63 uni with some big pie crust slicks. He said they fit and didnt have to tub or anything.

I think I could get away with it and then roll the fender lips and maybe give it some lovin with a hammer and dolly in the wheel wheel. I just dont want to spend 300 bones and they dont work.
