Way cool, Don. Hurry up and finish that thing cause I'm about to start on mine.... following yours is saving me from making mistakes Thanks for sharing mid-tenn mike
I wondered where you've been. It appears you've been busy. Very nice stuff but I'd expect nothing less from you..it's gonna look like a show car! See ya at the HAMB drags?????????
Don now I have been re-inspired. It may be time for an engine rebuild for me. That thing is looking super sweet so far and you had a really long way to go from the start. Much further than me. Very impressive. When it come to the '57....no regrets man.
Thanks for the update, Don. Your build-up has been a major inspiration for me and my 56 Caddy project. The 500 looks great!
Hey Don, do you have any up close and personal pics of the rotisserie? (SP) Really interested in the head where it all rotates. I need to build one.
Man, I just wanted to say that I think it is awesome that you give so many pics and details! Not only do I now know what will work, but also how it's gonna look. Thanks Don!
One of our "Regulars" just bought a 57 Cadillac. This is like a DRD 57 manual on a custom 57. Beats the heck out of a Haynes manual. Kudos to you for such an awesome website. Love the color by the way.
That was posted months ago... Now that Don is married he will NEVER get it done..... Any progress? Hyfire
Very nice, Don. Also cool to se the story on your 32 roadster. Must have missed how that went earlier.
Not true. The ch***is is a roller and the body is back on the ch***is. I'm in the process of moving from my shop to our new house with 6 cars of garage space so, progress on the car will be on the back burner while I get everything re-organized. The biggest things that keep from making progress on the Cadillac are the coupe and the roadster. Not that that's a problem or anything.
Very cool Don.... I look forward to seeing updates... I just bought another 1957 Cadillac and always enjoy seeing what others are doing.... Hyfire
Don't look at me... I am over my head on projects for the next few months before I get to my '57. Let's see if we can get a Caddy thread started.... At this point Don is our last great hope... Hyfire
When I was 16, I almost bought a 57 Fleetwood Mary Kay car, but bought a 57 Bel Air instead. I've had a thing for 57 Caddies ever since, and I love the updates on this one. This Caddy is gonna be a real work of art and the build quality is superb. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping us posted
