Those are cool, especially the VW! Here's my new project, a Beast ch***is coil over pavement sprinter.
Here's a link to the Milwaukee NNL 20 pix. http://www.briansmodelcars.com/forums/thread/601392/page/1
The bug is cool. I did a similar built years ago. I still have the Candy sapphire blue bug, in pieces, awaiting a restoration, some day. It has, crude, crush velour seats and interior parts and is a real mess. It 'ran' a stacked supercharged 289 Ford mill (Ha Ha) and m***ive wheelie bars as well as blue tinted windows... very "Street Freak". (The engine was out of an old GT40 kit.) This is an old illustration I did based on the model. The drawing, while caricatured, is pretty true to all the details...(save for the baby moons on the steelies and white walls)
Here's mine for this week, Ron Cash `27 T roadster body, modified Revell model A ch***is and engine with kit bashed/scratch built Riley 4-port, AMT `25 T bucket rear suspension, Revell Kurtis Midget nose and br*** hood and trunk lid and Revell Rat Rod rims and tires with the whitewall painted flat black.
John, this is the first time I've noticed you on here, though It doesn't surprise me to see you here!
Does anyone know where I can get some parts for this blazer? Or does anyone have any parts for it. I really just need all the gl*** I can scratch build the rest. I have the body and frame I need everything else. This is my project I'm building right now so the sooner I can get the parts the better Thanks carter
It was a PITA when the kit was new. I built mine with AMT fenders but like most of them I never finished it. I still have it in the parts box.
WHOA that thing is amazing! looks like something out of the book I'm reading atm, Tex smith hot rodding history part 2
I didn't know there was such a place to post model car stuff! Sweet! I have been building models for 25 years. Doing computers for about 3 months. I have mostly 30's fords. Now I should learn how to put pics on!
yep it was,but still one of the best mho. anybody make a 33-34 ford coupe with a chop top. errrrr any kit that is, beside z.z.top kit.resien
The 1942 Ford is the Tamiya 1/48 Scale and the Jeep is the Bandai 1/48 Scale (about 30 years old). Yep, it is not bad for a small kit. Needs a little firewall addition to prevent "see-through" to the front fenders.
That was one of the first full kits I ever got. Funny but I never finished it! Though now I would almost kill for another kit to have a fiddle with!! Some nice work this week, seems to be a VW theme this week? So I will follow along like a good sheep..... I got a VW kit, now I am not a fan of VWs so I thought 'What the hell am I going to do with this?' Salt laker of course! There is very little of the kit surviving in that build, sadly it was lost with my old collection of kits. So I have another in the works, still a looong way to go. Doc.
