I hsd a Benroy TD years ago and It was a lot of fun. My girlfreind just bought a new homebuilt and we are looking forward to going on a lot of trips this summer! We will pull it with my 40 Ford coupe.
There was just a neat show on the Travel Channel about teardrops. I have always liked them but the show brought out the biggest problem and that is changing clothes, because you can't stand up to do that unless you are outside the trailer. I guess the best solution would be a teardrop with an enclosed awning to give you a place to shower and change clothes. But if you are staying at a campground they mostly have showers that you can use too. Don

we have a 1947 KIT , there are 2 very important things to know if you're considering one. 1st you better be on real friendly basis with anyone sharing it. and 2nd make it a 2 door makes it a lot easier to crawl out of it if either of you get a middle of the night urge.
a few...They are not everyone's cup of tea. You have to have shower and restroom facilities available. You have to be able to put your trouser's on laying down. Unless you take a canopy with you escaping the weather is cramped. You have to scale down your "must have" camping equipment list. Other than that they are the coolest things to camp with or tow with a hot rod! But I am prejudice...I build them for a living!
