hi, names kevin church, been a lurker on here for years and thought it was about time i got my finger out and joined up ! i live on the outskirts of south london in england in a little place called croydon, i have been into rods for as long as i can remember, bought my first copy of hot rod magazine from a second hand book shop in 1969 when i was about 9 or 10
and its been downhill eversince ! had morris minors when i was young then moved on to various different british fords with v8 engines shoved into them, then bought a 55 chevy 210 2 door post rolling ch***is and built it with a 454, turbo 400 and a nine inch locker, got it to the stage of moving it under its own power and sold it to a friend as i wanted to finally do what ive always wanted and build a proper hot rod, i have a 1930 model a coupe in good standard condition, which is getting a 327 and 4 speed, socal dropped beam with f100 front brakes, 1940 banjo with hotrod works nine inch shaft conversion, f100 steering box, split bones front and rear and 5 and 7 x 15 old ansen slot mags with skinny bias ply tyres, fully fendered and hopefully looking like its just stepped out of the sixties...

    thanks for having me here

    love this site !

Hey Kev I actually used to own one of your Zodiacs! The white left ****** with the Boss 302. Had the whole rear end re-done after blowing out the 9" 3 times. Had Nick Butler do all te work. It hooked up like a good-un, with a sniff of gas I had her down in the 11's !

Been here in the US for a year now!

  25. Welcome Kev,

Im in the UK too, lived in Croydon for 17 years and worked in Lunar House. Your project sounds great! Start up a project thread, would love to see it come along!

Maybe I'll see you at some UK shows

Welcome! I like the "less is more" look to your Model A. Wish I could visit England some day.
