A friend of my family is looking his fathers old Chevy Coupe. Not alot of info as it was sold when he was maybe 5 years old. What we know- -33/34 Chevy Coupe -Had a 283 with a multicarb setup -Originally had ram horns but later got zoomies -Sold in Dodge City Ks in November of '63(not sure who/where it went to) -was in grey primer Here's some pics of it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I don't know anything about where the car is, or where it has been, but it is either a 1934 or 1935 Chevy Standard. You can tell this by the length of the cowl, and the style of the dashboard.
I agree with Torkwrench that it's a 34 or 35. The hood line in front of the cowl vent on a 33 goes straight across (parallel to the bottom of the windshield). A 34 / 35 has a curve to it like the one on your friend's dad's car. Here's a picture of the cowl on my 33 to show you the difference.
