need advice on my roadster

I'm stuck guys... I am sorting out the body of my 30 Plymouth. It was a 4 door, now turned roadster modified. I am not going to have side windows, and cant come up with the right way to finish the tops of the doors, and back of the cab. I've thought about just topping it with flat stock, even tube cut in half. All of the things I've come up with doesn't sound like it would looked finished. I'm not going to run doors, as this thing is going to be in the weeds. Any ideas or pictures you guys care to share?

Yeah I've seen the millions of roadsters and coupsters, but not in any detail of what up looking for. looking for the tops of the doors, and how the metalwork was done.

 

Get a piece of 3/4 to 1 3/4" pipe and wrap it around the rear of the tub then taper it into the door tops. You can then finish the door tops in flat or rounded metal.

I gave to a wide tube size because I am not looking at your tub and only you can decide what looks best.
