Seen it (or a likeness) on the road here a few times. Definitely different.

I could've done without the "contemporary" part. Otherwise kind of neat I guess.

One has to ask the question; Why?

  8. It's good looking, but I'd rather have the Corvette Corvair fastback!

A guy in my hometown also built one, using a Pontiac Safari and original Corvette panels, but his doesn't have any of the gay fuel injected modern ******** or the big inch rims, his looks true to the original down to the whitewalls and hubcaps.

Those things would be awesome if they used real parts instead of all that gay modern ****. Nice work either way. Heres a couple GM concepts that I wish I owned. The testudio corvair and the 55 Biscayne.

Look up a 56 Impala proto type

  14. As a former owner of 2-55 and one 56 Nomads, I really like this. Many people have tried in the past to recreate the original Waldorf Nomad prototype. Tons of hours into this one and a very nice recreation. As none of my Nomads were stock and I am not a restorer, I would really like one of these. A 53 Nomad that handles like a Corvette, excellent. Looks and handling, doesn't get any better than that. As for the haters, maybe a primered 53 chev with a stock 6 works for you, but some of us can appreciate the worksmanship and the dedication it takes to put a car like this together. Traditional, maybe. It is sectioned, has a ton of custom bodywork and mechanical upgrades. Thought that is what custom cars were all about. Pat.
