Just a few pics from the shake down cruise .We fired it up and drove around the block new car no run time and we took off to the Round Up. Man we were wore out but when we threw the bags in the car we knew this was not a dream anymore .The old girl has a 590 lift roller and 1.72 rockers a 750 carb without a timming light or a vacum gauge we tuned her by ear she made over 20 mpg and thats with gassing it and hauling ass .when we got to Austin we tightened the drag link some and that was it ! Man no one will ever know how much fun we had it took 3 days to recover .Thanks to all my friends. I love bugs !!
Man, I love your Coupe, Terry! It turned out GREAT!! I'm also a huge fan of those little Ford engines, cool to see you running it. ---Have a hopped up one going in my Roadster. Malcolm
