1940 Chevy Truck in the weeds

I found this not too far from home. . . . . she's rusted through.

 

Cool go save it!

 

We tried to pull it backwards about six feet yesterday with a track loader; the front wheels didn't want to turn, the bottoms of the doors and cab are rusted out, etc. A shame.

 

I'm sure sombody needs parts from it.

 

Well, I guess that will be the next logical step: part it out.

 

I will take the drivers side headlight bucket

 

Okay guys, I'll get in touch with the owner and see when we could start picking parts off of it. I think maybe in the next two weeks. I'll have to do this by the book (H.A.M.B. rules) and list it in parts for sale- when it comes time.

That thing doesn't look that bad to me. With some of the talent on here I bet someone could do great things with that truck.

 

Send the Picture to Hemmings, maybe they'll put it in their abondoned rusty truck calender.
