Nice. Are you planning to build it as a "street rod"? Or a traditional/custom?

There is something about the smell of those old cars and a kind of "time machine" vibe that just gets into your blood. Good buy. Keep us posted.

Looks like a suitable project, for anyone. Poncho's are so cool and different from the rest, even though many parts are interchangeable. Stay tuned in with us so we can enjoy your progress.

I changed the ***le to mild Kustom...lol

kustom is what im looking at..newer drivetrain, good brakes, nice interior, leave the out side as it is for a while..then satin black with wide whites, put the skirts back on it and some lake pipes probably..low rod...

go easy..im a cherry...but what ever you guys do,or call it,is why Im here...i've never owned anything older than a 64..so this is all brand spankin' new to me...

as long as it has the "look"...thats what i'm looking for...not a rat rod, but no fricken billet..at all..of any kind..no way..painted steel wheels...maybe clean the grill up, french the headlights...the car has the look...dont want to go too far from original..just glad i finally got the car i really wanted..im a die hard Pontiac guy

I have a 63 389 with an Offy tripower and a 3 speed stick probably..maybe leave it on the tree..

1950 Pontiac fastback, what a great car, either way you go will look great, but leave the illuminating hood ornament on, especially if you're considering nosing, shaving, lowering, etc.. mild custom only pleeeeze!

  20. One of my all time favorites! Looks like a good project.

Can't wait to see progress on that one. Don't see many of those I like it.
