   My mother-inlaw has two of these oil filter canisters and I don't know what vehicle they came out of. I think they look to be Ford but the lower mounting hole on the bracket look to be cut off but they are both like this.

   They are from 50-51 ford v8 flathead motors most of them broke at the bottom.
